Clayfest Registration Chair
Useful skill set:
- Strong organizational skills (paperwork management)
- Word-processing skills (currently MS Word)
- Database and spreadsheet skills
- E-mail abilities (mass mailings, frequent e-mail communications, sending attachments)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple events to a schedule
- Attention to detail
Committee needs: none

Duties
- Develop a budget.
- Develop an application form.
- Notify prospective participants about the show via postcards & newsletters.
- Mail or e-mail applications to prospective participants.
- Collect the application forms from the Post Office Box regularly.
- Enter the information into the database, and be ready to provide the information to the appropriate Chairs when needed.
- Keep database up-to-date.
- Check with LC secretary to be sure all applicants are members of Local Clay.
- Maintain spreadsheet of members' "points". .
- Manage the booth allocation process according to policy.
- Notify all applicants of the status of their application after the booth-selection meeting.
- Manage the DROP/ADD process and assign booths according to policy.
- Develop a Move In Packet and get it approved.
- Provide Chairs with pertinent reports and labels for the show.
- Distribute the Move In packet to all those accepted into the show.
- Handle after-show duties: return checks to those who did not get into the show, revise database to reflect no-shows, transfer sales results into database, attend wrap-up meeting.
